More new play stuff

Lucy and Lucy (how ironic that both dogs are named Lucy) approved the new play equipment in our back play area. We tried to find more equipment for our smaller friends, and they all seem to love it. Plus, Lucy the schnauzer is all ready for the fall with her sweater!

Have a good night.

    Hi Keith,

The new play equipment looks great, I've seen on the webcam that Moby loves it for sure.

When I saw that you had some new toys in the small dog area I started thinking about other things that might be fun or helpful and I figured out two things.

The first would be a mattress area in the back part of the room (which is kinda empty now) that would promote nap time more efficiently. I know it is hard to keep dog beds clean when it is such a dog crowded area but there are special outdoor beds that would be great for this (I know I've seen them on dog.com for pretty low prices).

The second would be a tunnel like the ones they use in agility training, thought that would be fun for the little darlings :).

I don't know if there is any budget for this right now but I though I would put that out there. Moby for one has trouble with nap time (he runs around like a crazy man all the time :) ) and a mattress nap area might help him and other dogs to relax for a while.

Thanks for doing a great job and for taking such good care of my baby :)

    /Annette

Yay! Thanks for considering my suggestions, I think it would be really nice for the puppies if they had somewhere to nap :)

    Please keep me posted.

    Thanks again

    Keith,

Here are some examples of the outdoor water-resistant mattresses/beds that I was talking about.

They are from 30X40 inches to 44X54 inches (so a few little dogs could fit on each of them) and range in prize from $40-90.

Pet Bed 35x44 Sporty Big $39.29 (not totally sure if this one is water-resistant)

    Water Repellent Ortho-Pedic Beds 30X40in $42.49

    Indoor/Outdoor Faux Gusset Jamison Bed 42Lx30Wx4H $47.99

    Indoor/Outdoor Shebang Bed 44in x 54in Green $51.99

Coleman Classic Pet Bed Red Plaid 40X52in $55.99

Indoor Outdoor Bed Striped 48X36in $76.49

    Puppy-Proof Bed and Toy – Navy Blue 36X54in $89.99

Personally I like the Shebang bed because it is biggest and would accommodate the most dogs but I also like the Coleman one, it looks cozy.

No pressure :) I just thought I could help out a little if you were considering the suggestion. Also, it’s kinda slow at work today :)
