WIN 1 FREE DAY OF DAYCARE

Hey Blog readers... Time to have some fun.... The first person to post a comment (make sure you put your name or dog's name so we know who you are) to this blog with the correct answer wins 1 free day of doggy daycare.

Look at the picture, what type of dog is it?

UPDATE: WE HAVE A WINNER, AND WOW THAT WENT FAST! CHLOE'S MOM WAS THE FIRST PERSON TO GET IT CORRECT (IT DOES TAKE TIME FOR THE COMMENTS TO BE PUBLISHED). The correct response was Anotolian Sheperd, which is the same breed as Bindi, who was our first daycare dog. Since this was fun, we will do this every Wednesday at noon. So check back next week for another chance to win ;)

This dog is the same breed as Bindi. But, you aren't sure exactly what she is "When they adopted her, they were told that she was a German Shepherd / St Bernard. Heather, our Assistant Manager and Trainer discovered that bindi is an Anatolian Shepherd. Bindi fits the personality and looks almost exactly of the breed! I think we might have to do a doggy DNA test to find out if Heather is correct." So most likely an Antolian Shepherd.

Hi Keith & Trisha! I was just checking in on the blog, hope PPP is doing well!
and I dunno...I know that everyone thinks Binders is an Anatolian, but they're really big (like Great Dane tall...) not to mention rare. I still think she's a mix - but a cute one! Time for a DNA test fundraiser? =]

An Anatolian Shepherd. That's interesting because I wouldn't have known that unless I had studied some cheetah conservation. The CCF (Cheetah Conservation Fund) trains these dogs to guard farmers flocks across areas in Africa. The farmers then don't feel like they have to kill every cheetah they see, because the dogs are very good at protecting their flocks.
